Description:
By default, both Project Admins and Internal users can create and update the templates on a project. However, this can be changed so that only Project Admins can do this.
This can be changed globally at a plan level or on a project-by-project basis. This article covers updating the global settings that all projects will respect by default.
For details on how to override the plan default on a project-by-project basis, see Update project permission settings.
Notes:
- Only Plan Admins can access the Admin Console and can therefore update this setting.
- The setting can be overridden on each project via the Project Settings page, see Update project permission settings for more details.
Guide:
1. Go to the Settings screen
2. Under the Templates heading, you will find a setting called Template management.
3. Click on the setting to open the options. You will be presented with a popup containing options for Admins only and Admins & internal users.
4. Select your desired permission and click Ok when you are done. Your changes will automatically be saved and will take effect on any existing & new project that use the default permissions.
