Description:
Insite provides several fields for items out of the box. These include images, title, description, due date, assignees, locations, status, priority and comments.
In some instances, you might not need all of these fields. Therefore, we have made it possible to turn off the item fields by creating reusable 'Item field sets'.
You can determine which field set should be used on a list to create a more streamlined audit process. This article describes the process for creating and updating custom item field sets. For details on using the field sets, see Using custom field sets.
Notes:
- Only Project Admins can access the Item field sets part of the project settings and therefore other users cannot create or update custom Item field sets.
- Given that this is a project-level setting, the custom field ses will be available on all new lists as well as list templates.
- Changes made to custom Item field sets will take effect on any lists and templates which use them.
