Create an item – Insite Group

With Insite you have a few methods of creating items. You can either:

Create an item from an image or images in your devices image library, or
Start creating items by taking a photo
Generate a blank item

To create an item from your image library

1. From the home screen go to Your project - see Create a project.

2. You will now be presented with the project overview screen.

3. Go to your project lists.

4. Go to the list to which you would like to add items - see Create a list.

5. Once you have opened your list tap the Blue ⊕ button in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.

6. Tap Choose from the pop-up list. Make sure you have allowed Insite to have permission to access your device's image library.

7. You can now choose an image or multiple images to create items from. If you choose multiple images then the same number of items will be created with each image starting a new item. Use the arrows at the bottom of the screen to move through these items and change each of their details. See Add multiple items at once for more info.

8. To add more images or input the rest of the item details see:

9. Tap the ✓ in the top right of your screen when you are done. Your new item(s) will be created and saved to the list.

To create an item using your camera

1. From the home screen go to Your project - see Create a project.

2. You will now be presented with the project overview screen.

3. Go to your project lists.

4. Go to the list to which you would like to add items - see Create a list.

5. Once you have opened your list tap the Blue ⊕ button in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.

6. Tap Take from the pop-up list. Make sure you have allowed Insite to have permission to access your device's camera.

7. You can now take an image using your camera. Once you tap Use photo a new item will be created with your new image.

8. To add more images or input the rest of the item details see:

9. Tap the ✓ in the top right of your screen when you are done. Your new item will be created and saved to the list.

To create a blank item

1. From the home screen go to Your project - see Create a project.

2. You will now be presented with the project overview screen.

3. Go to your project lists.

4. Go to the list to which you would like to add items - see Create a list.

5. Once you have opened your list tap the Blue ⊕ button in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.

6. Tap Blank from the pop-up list. You will now be presented with a new item ready for you to fill in.

8. Tap the ✓ in the top right of your screen when you are done. Your new item will be created and saved to the list.
